At the point of referral, each young person's Assessment of Needs becomes
paramount. In partnership with the young person, their family and relevant agencies, this provides a comprehensive insight
to the needs of the individuals, and how best these can be met by our staff team.
This infromation becomes the core basis for our inhouse Careplans, Risk Assessments, Daily Routines
and Behaviour Modification Systems, specifically designed to support each individual.
In line with individual care packages, the unit also provides a tailored Keyworker System. This
provides young people with the opportunity to engage in One to One Sessions and were necessary, Life
Story Work.
At Bridges Lane we believe that successful recovery for the young person is a multi-agency
task. We therefore aim to promote positive working relationships with the many resources we engage with i.e. Child
Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and to also facilitate access to Independent Visitors for each young
person.
